Dear Parents;
Every
year the Child Development Centre seeks
to offer summer camps to the community. This
has always been well received and incurred
high participation from many children
with both special and typical needs. Summer
camps have always been a highlight and
is an important component of our service
delivery.
This year the Child Development Centre
will not be offering summer camps due
to the renovation/expansion project. The
project will be in “full swing” which
will include intensive site work and interior
renovations. It is our goal to resume
our summer camps next year.
Our services
and programs will still be operating throughout
the summer and we will be taking the opportunity
to enhance our community and home based
services. We also hope to enhance the
inclusiveness of our community by supporting
children in their participation of other
summer camps through our Special Services
and Supported Child Development Program. Thank
you very much for your continued patience
with the building expansion project and
we look forward to an expanded physical
space that will allow for a unique learning
and growing space for children.
If you have any questions please contact
me at (250) 785-3200.
Sincerely,
Penny Gagnon
